Sam Outlaw debuts new duet at the Opry with Sarah Darling


Sam Outlaw once again took the stage at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday, August 16th.

He performed his new duet “Forever and Always” with Nashville singer-songwriter Sarah Darling. The two performed a double-header stacked bill that included Opry legends Carrie Underwood, Old Crow Medicine Show and Tommy Emmanuel.

The Opry tweeted a video of the duet, saying the couple delivered “chills” to the packed audience.

Sam will embark on a European tour in the Fall with dates in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

New duet with Sarah Darling + Sam's return to the Grand Ole Opry

On July 26 Sam released his new song Forever and Always - a duet with Nashville-based singer Sarah Darling. The song was produced by Bill Reynolds and Jeff Cohen in Nashville and features Leo Grassl on pedal steel and Brad Lindsay on guitar. On the same day as his song release Sam returned to the Grand Ole Opry to perform two of his songs “Love Her For A While” and “Diamond Ring”.

During his performance Connie Smith announced that he’s been invited back to the Opry for another performance - this time as a ‘double show’ night on August 16th. Sam plans to perform his duet live with Sarah Darling on August 16th and tickets are available now. Carrie Underwood and Old Crow Medicine Show will also perform that night.

"Surprise" album release and Grand Ole Opry debut

Sam’s new EP “Hat Acts” was released Friday, May 3rd to international acclaim. The album release coincided with his Grand Ole Opry debut at the legendary venue in Nashville, TN.

Rolling Stone reviewed the EP comprising of 3 songs + 3 skits and said "Propelled by steel and Outlaw’s desperate vocals, it’s a 100-proof shot of adrenaline and attitude."
